Piano Guide Free Mini-Course
Hello, my name is Peter Hostage, and I've been teaching piano to adults since the early 1980's. I've written and developed a new piano method designed especially for busy, motivated adults, who want to learn how to play piano, but are pressed for time. The Piano Guide Book Series is designed to help you learn faster, more easily, and make the best use of the time you devote to piano. With The Piano Guide Mini-Course you'll see the quality and value you will find in the Piano Guide Book Series.

No Commitment Trial

With the Piano Guide Mini-Course you will receive four free introductory piano lessons. The lessons are easy, and take only 20 minutes (or less) to complete. There is no commitment, but you get to "try out" my approach to learning piano.

It's OK if you know nothing about piano

The Piano Guide Mini-Course starts at the very beginning, so you don't have to know anything about music or piano. All of the lessons are easy to follow, and fully explained using easy to understand graphics. All you need is a piano or keyboard to get started!

The Lessons:

Day One: Finding Your Way Around. You will learn how to recognize the different piano keys. You will also learn the Musical Alphabet, and you will play your first songs!

Day Two: Timing Is Everything: Rhythm, Note Values and the Time Signature. You will learn what the time signature is, and how to count whole notes, half notes and quarter notes.

Day Three: The C Major Five Finger Position. You will learn what the finger numbers are and what they tell us, how to best hold your fingers, how to sit at the piano and how to play in the C major five finger position.

Day Four: Reading Notes on the Musical Staff. You will learn about the elements of the piano staff, the notes on the staff and keys, how to memorize the notes on the staff, and how to play the C major five finger position on the staff.

The Piano Guide Mini-Course includes 10 exercises, 7 songs to play and 7 MP3 Audio files. With the audio files, you get to listen to the songs before you play them. Why? Hearing the music first makes it faster and easier to learn the lesson and enhances the learning experience.

So sign up now for the Piano Guide Mini-Course, and start learning how to play piano right away! It's free and there's no commitment required from you!

You'll receive Day One tomorrow, Day Two the following day, Day Three the day after that, and Day Four the day after that. Take your time with the lessons, though I think you will find them easy to do.

"The Piano Guide Book Series is a piano method that is both fun and accessible to the older beginner. Written in plain language and using simple diagrams, anyone should be able to pick this book up and start playing. Music theory concepts are introduced is such a way that you have time to grasp them while steadily advancing your knowledge on the keyboard. I would recommend this piano method to any adult who wants to play and see results quickly."
William Hinkle, professional musician and music teacher
Nashua,NH

"Many of the current 'adult' piano method books are lttle more than better worded children's piano books. Adult students need practical information presented in an appropriate manner, with room for conceptual development. The Piano Guide Book Series artfully accomplishes this task and more. Peter presents all of the material in a manner appropriate for adults, at a brisk, but reasonable pace, while providing enough challenge to keep the student engaged. The student can easily move beyond just the notes on the page and understand the broader concepts of piano playing. Put all of this together, with a great selection of supplemental songs, and you have an adult piano method that provides everything needed to be a proficient musician."
Ray Aucoin, professional drummer and music teacher
